I have been going to Dr. Summer for over 10 years now. My husband, daughters and son-in-law are also patients. We love everyone there. Dr. Summer takes his time with you during your visit, not rushing you like most of those "conglomerate" doctors. And the staff are always professional and willing to help in any way they can.
I went without a Primary Care Physician for over 8 years because I despised the "big box medicine" practice that I went to. I finally realized it was a must to find someone to coordinate my medical issues as I was in crisis mode. I was able to get an appointment quickly and Dr. Summer spent an hour listening to me and assessing my health situation carefully. I feel as if I am a person instead of a number and I never feel hurried and never feel patronized. Because I am without health insurance the self-pay pricing is important, and Dr. Summer understands this, and also offers discounts so that I can get the blood work I need without breaking the bank. Doctor Summer and his friendly staff always follow up with me after an appointment and check in to make sure I'm doing well after being seen. I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for a positive experience and an EXCELLENT level of health care.
I have been a patient of Dr Leigh Summer for seven years. I was delighted when she joined her husband as a family practitioner at the only local, family-run and family-oriented medical clinic in this area. When you call their office, you get a REAL PERSON, not an automated line. The staff is warm and friendly. Dr Summer is an extremely talented and knowledgeable physician. She listens to you, she responds accordingly, and never seems to be in a hurry.

Most of my family and I are patients of Summer Family Care. We are all in agreement and can honestly say we have never been a part of a more caring, compassionate and above all professional practice.
